THIS SUMMONS IS DIRECTED TO THE ABOVE NAMED DEFENDANTS:
1. YOU ARE BEING SUED. The Plaintiff has started a lawsuit against you. The Plaintiffs Complaint against you is attached to this Summons and is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court. Do not throw these papers away. They are official papers that affect your rights. You must respond to this lawsuit even though it may not yet be filed with the Court and there may be no court file number on this Summons.
2. YOU MUST REPLY WITHIN 20 DAYS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. You must give or mail to the person who signed this summons a written response called an Answer within 20 days of the date on which you received this Summons. You must send a copy of your Answer to the person who signed this Summons located at:

3. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH CLAIM. The Answer is your written response to the Plaintiffs Complaint. In your Answer you must state whether you agree or disagree with each paragraph of the Complaint. If you believe the Plaintiff should not be given everything asked for in the Complaint, you must say so in your Answer.
4. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE IF YOU DO NOT SEND A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNED THIS SUMMONS. If you do not answer within 20 days, you will lose this case. You will not get to tell your side of the story, and the Court may decide against you and award the Plaintiff everything asked for in the Complaint. If you do not want to contest the claims stated in the Complaint, you do not need to respond. A default judgment can then be entered against you for the relief requested in the Complaint.
5. LEGAL ASSISTANCE. You may wish to get legal help from a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, the Court Administrator may have information about places where you can get legal assistance. Even if you cannot get legal help, you must still provide a written Answer to protect your rights or you may lose the case.
6. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties may agree to or be ordered to participate in an alternative dispute resolution process under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. You must still send your written response to the Complaint even if you expect to use alternative means of resolving this dispute.
7. THIS LAWSUIT MAY AFFECT OR BRING INTO QUESTION TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY located in the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:
Parcel 1:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, that lies Southerly and Westerly of County State Aid Highway No. 5 as the same was laid out and traveled prior to 1972, EXCEPT, the three following described parcels:
Commencing at the intersection of the Southerly line of County State Aid Highway No. 5 as laid out prior to 1972 and the West line of said Southwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter; thence Easterly 100 feet along said Southerly line; thence South 125 feet parallel with said West line; thence Westerly parallel with said Southerly line of road to the said West line; thence North along said West line to the place of commencement.
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25; thence West along the South line of said Northeast Quarter, 1992.5 feet to the West right -of-way line of County State Aid Highway No. 5 (Nowthen Blvd.) as laid out prior to 1972, which is the point of beginning of this description; thence West on the South line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 75 feet; thence in a Northwesterly direction and parallel with the West line of said public highway for a distance of 227.7 feet; thence in an Easterly direction and parallel with the said South line 75 feet to the West right-of-way line of said public highway as laid out prior to 1972; thence in a Southeasterly direction and along the West right-of-way line of said public highway a distance of 227.7 feet to the point of beginning.
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 31, Range 25, taken for County State Aid Highway No. 5 (Nowthen Blvd) as laid out after October 1,1973.
Parcel 2:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Southerly line of State Aid Highway No. 5 as laid out and traveled as of September 1,1964, and the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence Easterly 100 feet along said Southerly line; thence South 125 feet parallel with said West line; thence Westerly parallel with said Southerly line of road to the said West line; thence North along said West line to the place of commencement
Parcel 3:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying North of County State Aid Highway No. 5 as laid out and constructed on September 1,1974, and lying South of County Road No. 5 as maintained and traveled prior to said date.
The object of this action is to determine that the legal description listed above does not consist of separate and distinct farms or tracts under Minn. Stat. 580.08. If you fail to answer the Complaint within the time aforesaid, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in said Complaint, together with plaintiffs costs and disbursements.

NO PERSONAL CLAIM
Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 557.03 you are hereby served with notice that no personal claim is made against you and that any defendant upon whom this notice is served who unreasonably defends this action shall pay full costs to the plaintiff.
