Gridiron-diamond classic

The eighth annual golf tournament to support St. Francis football and baseball is August 16 at The Ponds Golf Course in St. Francis. Shotgun start at 2 p.m., dinner to follow. Anoka girls soccer alumni game, August 16

Anoka girls’ soccer is hosting an alumni game at Goodrich Field in Anoka August 16. Registration is encouraged to ensure an alumni T-shirt for $25, but walk-ups are also welcomed to join the festivities of celebrating Anoka girls soccer.

A meet-and-greet will begin at 2 p.m. with the game set to start at 3 p.m.

More than two dozen players have registered and many more will attend but not play.

NHL Alumni game at Fogerty

The Minnesota NHL Alumni Association will host a benefit game to benefit Wyatt Klute on Sept. 6 at Fogerty Arena. Tickets are $20 at the door or those 18-and-older can play in the game for $200. Log-on to wyattklute.com for more information.

‘Putt-ing Kids First’ golf tournament

The 55th annual ‘Putting Kids First’ golf tournament organized by Anoka-Hennepin Education Foundation is 8 a.m. Sept. 6 at Green Haven Golf Course in Anoka. Coon Rapids hockey golf tournament

The fourth annual Coon Rapids Youth Hockey Association Golf Tournament is set for a 2 p.m. shotgun start, Sept. 6 at Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine. Spring Lake Park hockey golf tournament

The first Panther Youth Hockey Golf Classic to benefit Spring Lake Park Youth Hockey is set for a noon shotgun start Sept. 5 at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake. Registration is open at slpyhgolfclassic.com for the four-person scrammble format. Registration is $100 and includes golf, door prizes and a barbecue diner.

Hole-in-one

Jeremy Hanson used a 5-iron to ace the par-3, 179-yard 11th hole at Green Haven Golf Course July 29.
