Gamache, Johnson will vie for county board seat
Mike Gamache and Debbie Johnson have advanced ahead of Reid Oines in the primary election for the Anoka County Board District 5 seat.
Gamache, currently serving as the mayor of Andover, garnered 49 percent of the vote, followed by former state legislator Johnson, with 38 percent. Oines tallied 13 percent.
The seat is currently held by Commissioner Carol LeDoux, who is not running for re-election to the district that represents parts of Coon Rapids, Andover and a small portion of Fridley.
