Blaine tentatively accepts county offer for 105th Avenue

The city of Blaine informally accepted Anoka County’s $1.1 million for the transfer of ownership and all maintenance responsibilities of 105th Avenue.

Formal approval will come only after the Anoka County Board and Blaine City Council approve a joint powers agreement and the county board passes a resolution to turn back 105th Avenue to the city, according to Blaine City Manager Clark Arneson. He said road work could happen as soon as next spring.
