The Anoka-Hennepin School Board voted unanimously to award $4.44 million in contracts for ventilation work at Coon Rapids High School and Roosevelt Middle School in its consent agenda Feb. 27.
Six bids were received for an HVAC system replacement at Coon Rapids High School, the lowest by CM Construction Company Inc. of Burnsville.
Base bids ranged from $2.08 million to $3.37 million.
A total contract of $2.57 million, including seven alternate projects related to the HVAC replacement, was approved by the board.
Ten bids were submitted for ventilation upgrades to Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine, with base bids ranging from $1.82 million to $2.34 million.
The low bidder was Cool Air Mechanical Inc. out of Ham Lake, and the company was awarded a $1.87 million total contract with $47,400 in alternate projects.
