I cover the cities of Andover, Blaine and Ramsey. I have worked at ABC Newspapers since August 2007.

The Blaine Police Department is hosting another Coffee with a Cop session Friday, April 14.

Starbucks, on the corner of Highway 65 and 109th Avenue, will be the host from 1 to 2 p.m.

The public is invited to come and ask any questions they have for Blaine’s law enforcement.

Blaine police kicked off this new program in early March. They first met residents at the senior apartment complexes of Blaine Courts and Cloverleaf Courts, followed by a session on March 29 at a Caribou Coffee in The Village of Blaine shopping center.

Blaine Police Lt. Stephen Johnson said the goal is to have a Coffee with a Cop at a local business at least once a month.
