Developer, city come to terms on Northtown triangle

This past Monday evening, May 11, property owners in the Northtown triangle area watched as their elected city officials, acting as the city’s HRA (Housing Redevelopment Authority), came to an agreement on the development of their collective 11 acres to be developed as a residential/elderly housing complex.

New Blaine restaurant comes amidst concerns

At the Blaine City Council meeting May 1, a proposal to open a new Tasty Pizza at Cloud Drive and Aberdeen Street in Blaine met with considerable opposition from the neighborhood. Dave Ubl, restaurant owner, was proposing to serve liquor and have an outdoor dining area.
