Blaine wins Northwest Suburban Conference boys golf meet

The Blaine boys golf team won the Northwest Suburban Conference meet Tuesday at The Refuge Golf Club.

Blaine scored a team total of 309. Anoka placed third with a 318, Andover was fifth with a 325, Spring Lake Park took 10th with a 339 and Coon Rapids shot a 345 to place 11th.

Caleb VanArragon led the way for the Bengals with a 75. Max Ullan and Willie Manthis both shot a 77 and Tyler Grimm scored a 80.

The course was a par 72.

Totino Grace’s Matthew Garside shot a 72 to win the meet.
