Dist. 15 seeks feedback on referendum questions

The St. Francis School District Board is considering moving forward with a bond referendum in November after questions failed this May.

Proposed questions focus on facilities, technology and athletics, but input from the community is needed.

Community members are invited to take a short survey, attend a community forum, stop by a dialogue session or email the School Board.

A community survey will be available through Monday, July 17, at 4 p.m. The survey can be accessed at www.bit.ly/2tnxbC9.

A community forum is scheduled for Monday, July 10, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. It will take place at the Central Services Center, 4115 Ambassador Blvd. NW, St. Francis.

A dialogue session from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 17, will allow residents to meet one-on-one with a School Board member at the Central Services Center.

Email the School Board at [email protected].

The board will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. July 19 to finalize questions. They must be submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education by July 20 to ensure they make the ballot Nov. 7.
