QC Dancers attended Encore Performing Arts National Competition in Arlington, Texas, from June 19-23. Dancers were not only complimented for their dance skills, but also for their ‘Minnesota nice’ illustrated through their showmanship, performances and new friendships made.
QC received the honor to have five routines earn top honors to re-compete in the Grand Slam – Best of the Best Competition. These five numbers encompassed every age group possible (petite, junior, teen and senior) and QC tied with one other studio for having the most routines in the Grand Slam.
QC’s production routine titled “Vivir Mi Vida”, choreographed by Studio Director Barb Stanley, was crowned Grand Slam Champions – the Best of the Best of the entire competition. The dancers in Vivir Mi Vida also received a standing ovation for their performance. QC received the ultimate honor at National Competition.
