Every two years, Girl Scouts finish one level of Girl Scouting and move onto the next level in what is called a Bridging Ceremony. It is a tradition to celebrate accomplishments.

The bridge symbolizes a crossing over to new adventures in scouting and more skills to learn.

The Girl Scouts involved in this Aug. 20 ceremony came from troops 14695, 16062, 17974, 17982 and 17984.
