Soontaree “Thoy” Hattakosol Hillstrom, age 61, passed away on Aug. 19, 2019. She was born in Phitsanulok, Thailand. She worked as a hearing aid technician for over 20 years. She was always ready for a new adventure and loved road trips with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling to other countries to include Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Europe and many visits back home to Thailand. Thoy was a wonderful Mother, loving Wife and the fun Grandma. She was known for her amazing Thai cooking, especially her egg rolls. She is survived by her husband Jack Hillstrom, son Tony (Missey) Metz, step daughter Andrea (William) Giddings, step son Roland (Laurarose) Hillstrom and eight grandchildren. Your smile, laugh, positivity and love of life will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24th at 10:30 a.m. at Cowboy Jacks, 9010 Quantrelle Ave., Otsego. Light lunch to follow.
