The St. Francis City Council voted unanimously Sept. 15 to set the proposed 2015 levy at $3,195,789, which reflects a 7 percent increase over the 2014 levy. The council has the option to reduce that amount when the final levy is adopted in December.
A Blaine neighborhood’s demand for access was met when the Anoka County Board Aug. 26 voted unanimously to keep a full-access intersection at Xylite Street and 125th Avenue when a reconstruction project is complete.
Final design work and right-of-way acquisition are the next steps in the process for the planned reconstruction of Foley Boulevard in Coon Rapids from Egret to Northdale boulevards.
