The Spring Lake Park School District begins an activities and athletics study this month.
Pippi Longstocking, a swarm of bumblebees and a number of princesses descended on Woodcrest Elementary Spanish Immersion School Oct. 24 for the annual Spring Lake Park District 16 Early Childhood Family Education and Preschool Fall Carnival.
Immediately before the Spring Lake Park High School Homecoming football game Oct. 11, families came together for a parade and tailgate event, sponsored by student council.
Attendance was down for the Panther Foundation’s third annual 5K and family carnival fundraiser at Spring Lake Park High School, but those who did brave the rain Oct. 5 were full of energy, ready to kick off Homecoming week 2013.

The Spring Lake Park District 16 School Board approved the 2014 preliminary tax levy at the maximum amount at a work session Sept. 24.
