The biggest story coming into the season for the Huskies is between the pipes where Minnesota-Duluth prospect Maddie Rooney decided to try out for the boys team after helping the girls to the program’s first state tournament appearance. Head coach Mark Manney begins his sixth season guiding the boys’ team and will try for career coaching win No. 75 in the season-opener at Robbinsdale, Nov. 29.
