A Blaine man, who pleaded guilty in Anoka County District Court to one of two felony charges following a domestic incident at his residence, has been placed on probation for five years.
At sentencing Nov. 16, Weston Warren Wilson, 49, 9951 Polk St. N.E., who entered a guilty plea to a terroristic threats count, was jailed for 60 days with credit for 10 days served.
A second-degree assault charge was dismissed at sentencing.
Probation conditions include submitting a DNA sample and no possession or use of dangerous weapons and firearms.
According to the complaint, Blaine Police responded to a domestic call Feb. 28 from the Polk Street apartment where a woman said that after she and Wilson had been arguing all day, he came up behind her, grabbed her by the neck and put a knife to her throat.
In doing so, she said that Wilson threatened to kill her.
Neighbors gave statements to police that they had heard the woman screaming for Wilson to put the knife down and Wilson telling the woman that he was going to kill her.
