William Arntson
Funeral service for William C. Arntson, 79. Becker, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 1 at Snake River Free Church, Becker.
Arntson died Aug. 26. He was a Korean War veteran as a member of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his children, Tim (Bonnie), Doug (Lorrie) and Sandy; grandchildren, Matt, Dan, Kelly, Lindsey, MJ and Brenna; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Delores) Arntson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary; infant daughter; sister; Lois Roberts; and brother Jack Arntson.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Dare’s Funeral Home, Elk River.
Patricia Chouinard
Memorial service for Patricia Chouinard, 72, Wahkon, formerly of Anoka, took place Aug. 28 at Living Water Assembly of God, near Wahkon. Rev. Joe Boeringa officiated.
Chouinard died Aug. 23. She was born Feb. 12, 1938 in Anoka and worked for Hoffman Engineering, Anoka, for 21 years before she purchased, developed and co-owned Hidden Bay resort in Wahkon for 15 years. She also served on the Wahkon City Council for 10 years.
She is survived by Joan Rehberg, Shirl (David Lilley) Chouinard, Monica (Vlastimil) Mach, Michele Chouinard, Kathleen (Damon) Doyle, Wade Chouinard; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia.
Deanna Cox
Funeral service for Deanna E. Cox, 63, Brooklyn Park, will take place Wednesday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m., at Emmanuel Christian Center, Spring Lake Park.
Cox died Aug. 24 in Robbinsdale. She was born June 29, 1947 in Sleepy Eye to George and Lilly Fischer.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight; daughter, Jennifer; son, Daron (Amy); grandson, Jonathan and Aaden; two brothers; four sisters; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
June Elliott
Funeral service for June I. Elliott, 85, Elk River, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 27 at Meadow Creek Church, Andover.
Elliott died Aug. 21. She was born Jan. 10, 1925 to Maude Beatrice Ostrander-Goodell and Kenneth J. Goodell in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her children, Robert P. Elliott Jr. (Janet), Linda L. Bennett, Stephen A. Elliott (Tammy), Sally A. Scheevel (Marlin), Melodee J. Baig (Saleem), George R. Elliott (Penney), Deborah E. Cooke (Steve), Patti J Schlechter (Mark), Matthew J. Elliott (Kerry), Nancy V. Todd (Richard); 41 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P Elliott Sr.; daughter, Joy June; son, William David; son-in-law, Leroy Robert Bennett; and granddaughter, Robin Marie Schlechter.
Internment was at Riverside Cemetery, Grantsburg, Wis.
Loretta Epps
Funeral service for Loretta M. Epps, 81, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 1 at Church of St. Stephen, Anoka.
Epps died Aug. 27. She was a former 25-year employee of Federal Cartridge.
She is survived by her husband, Warren; children, Carol (Ron) Lais, Shirley Duden; grandchildren, Dawn Byars, Kevin Hadel, Chrystal May, Kerri Wirkus, Jeremy Duden; eight great-grandchildren; brother; Leslie (Diane) Hughes; nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Laura Hughes; and brother, Floyd Hughes.
Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Homes, Anoka Chapel.
Renee Heim
Funeral service for Renee Helm, 62, took place Aug. 9 at the Church of St. Paul. Rev. Tim Nolan officiated.
Helm died Aug. 4 after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She was born May 21, 1948 in Kaukauna, Wis., to Norbert and Genevieve Feldkamp.
She is survived by her husband, David C. Heim; son, Michael (Michele) Heim; daughter, Bridget Kratt; grandsons, Chase and Tyler; brothers, James (Julane) Feldkamp, Dennis (Bonnie) Feldkamp; sisters, Muriel (Wayne) Newhouse, Judy (George) Hoffmann; many nieces and nephews; and friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Genevieve Feldkamp.

Cindy Jonak
Memorial service for Cindy J. (Martin) Jonak, 53, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 28 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel.
She is survived by her mother, Lorraine; nieces, Bonnie (Scott) Johnston and Kelly Martin; nephew, Jeff (Kim) Martin; and great-nieces and nephews, Casey and Cole Johnston, Alexa and Nate Martin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; and brother, Michael.

Funeral service for Calvin R. Lang, 77, Spring Lake Park, took place Aug. 27 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his daughters, Roxanne (Mark) Wall, Candi (Scott) Neu; grandchildren, Angel, Randi, Matthew, Jessica, Katie, Calynn-Jo, Brady, Aaron and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Quentin, Chyanne, Riley, Sicily, Harlan, Peyton, Reese and Lyla; and brothers, Vernon (Marilyn) and Guy (Carolyn).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine; and daughter, Calette Lang.

Beatrice Langseth
Funeral service for Beatrice (Thorson) Langseth, 97, Coon Rapids, formerly of Andover, took place Aug. 30 at Meadow Creek Church, Andover. Rev. Randy O’Brien officiated.
Langseth died Aug. 25. She was born Sept. 24, 1912 in Highlanding to Thomas Martin and Clara Betsy (Johnson) Thorson.
She is survived by her children, David (JoAnn) Langseth and Marilyn Malecek; grandchildren, Jason Langseth, Doreen (Troy) Leuthard, James (Jennifer) Malecek, Mike Malecek and John (Megan) Malecek; and great-grandsons, Matthew, Steven, Jayson, Lucas and Harlan Malecek and Mason Leuthard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son-in-law, Jim Malecek; and siblings, Alice Teigland, Arthur Thorson, Jerdis Johnson, Ted Thorson and Maynard Thorson.
Interment was at West Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, Andover.
Maxine Miller
Funeral service for Maxime Miller, 75, Ham Lake, took place Aug. 29 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
Miller died Aug. 25 in Cambridge. She was born April 21, 1935 in Foxhome.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie and Tammy (Steve); son, Bill (Lisa); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill.
Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.
Ronald Swanson
Memorial service for Ronald Swanson, 44, took place Aug. 21 at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel, Rev. Fran Hoefgen officiated.
Swanson died Aug. 10. He was born Aug. 17, 1965 in Minneapolis to Richard and Carolyn Swanson.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; father, Richard (Gloria); brother, Rick (Joan Takata); sister, Kristel (Kristofor) Lastine; niece, Sofia Grace Lastine; grandmothers, Mary Holewa and Ruth Zimmel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy.
