Carl and Jeanne Sigurdson of Anoka, along with Karl Demer and Katherine Todd of Oakdale, are happy to announce the engagement of their children Cassandra Sigurdson and Addison Demer. The couple became engaged on July 3rd, 2010 at their childhood cabins where they first met in 2003. They plan on tying the knot in July of 2011. Casey is a 2008 graduate of Anoka HS and is seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the U of M. Addison is a 2007 graduate of Tartan HS and will graduate this spring from the U of M with a BS in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development. He plans to attend medical school in the Fall of 2011.

Dan and Charlene Adelmann of Lakeville and Haakon and Jane Oksnevad of Blaine, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Amy Jo Adelmann to Erik Kristian Oksnevad. The wedding will be held on September 18, 2010 on the Adelmann Family Acres in Lakeville. Amy Jo is a 2002 graduate of Lakeville HS. She has a B.A. in Marketing and minors in Dance and Psychology from the U of M - Duluth. She currently works at LoveWorks Academy for Visual and Performing Arts in Golden Valley as the dance instructor for grades K-8. Erik is a 2002 graduate of Spring Lake Park HS. He has a B.A. in Marketing from the U of M - Duluth. He is employed as a purchasing agent at Northwest Graphics Supply. The couple was engaged on February 18, 2009 and will be married in March 2010.

Erin Olson, daughter of Jim and Sherry Olson of Anoka, and Paul Harrison, son of Tom and Michelle Harrison of Anoka, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The couple is planning a January wedding in Anoka.
Erin is a 1998 graduate of Anoka HS, a 2003 graduate of the College of St. Scholastica with a master’s degree in physical therapy and is presently employed at MotionCare in Shoreview.
Paul is a 1998 graduate of Anoka HS and a 2003 graduate of the College of St. Scholastica with a degree in education. Paul is presently employed by Shaw-Stewart Lumber Companies in Minneapolis.
The couple will reside in Blaine.

Lauren Kolter, of Elm Grove, Wisconsin, and David Bluml, of Coon Rapids, were wed May 30, 2009, at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Parents of the bride are Steve and Nancy Kolter of Elm Grove. Parents of the groom are Steve and Jackie Bluml of Coon Rapids.
The bride earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the U of M in 2009. She is an RN working as a Program Counselor for ACR Homes.
The groom earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the U of M in 2006. He is working as a Systems Administrator for Kroll Ontrack.

Kirsten Lynn Kennelly was born Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 19¼” long.
Proud parents are Benjamin and Shannon Kennelly of Eagan. Grandparents are Michael and Cheryl Villeneuve of Ramsey, and Tom and Luanna Kennelly of Fargo, ND.

Richard & Wanda Donovan of Oak Grove, along with Vern Peterson of Cushing are excited to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Joe Peterson to Laura Dawson, daughter of Bill & Diane Dawson of Stanley, WI. An April 24th wedding is planned.
Joe is a 2000 graduate of St. Francis HS, 2005 graduate of the U of M and is currently an assistant manager with Wells Fargo.
Laura is a 2003 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, 2009 MBA graduate of the University of St. Thomas and is currently a financial analyst with General Dynamics.

Abigail Palpant of Burnsville and Joshua Nicholson of Greenville, S.C., formerly of Blaine, plan to marry. Abigail, daughter of Pete and Sheila Palpant of Burnsville, is a 2001 graduate of First Baptist School and a 2006 graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College. She earned a master’s degree from Bob Jones University in 2008. She is currently employed as the elementary & secondary band director at First Baptist School - Rosemount. Joshua, son of John and Jan Nicholson of Blaine, is a 2002 graduate of Blaine HS and a 2006 graduate of Bob Jones University. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Bob Jones where he is a graduate assistant. A July 10, 2010, wedding is planned at First Baptist Church, Rosemount.

Mark Jankowski, Anoka 1991, will marry Michele Price of Chicago, Il. in Madison, Wi. on Memorial weekend 2010. They currently reside in Santa Fe, NM.

JoCee is a 2002 graduate of Blaine HS and s 2006 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently a teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. JoCee is also an owner/instructor of Arabesque School of Dance in Blaine.
Bob is a 1997 graduate of Coon Rapids HS. He attended Brown College. He is currently employed in the family business, Mailing Solutions in Blaine.
