Dr. Jeff Ronneberg, assistant superintendent at Spring Lake Park District 16, has been named one of six semifinalists for a superintendent position in the White Bear Lake Area School District.

Ronneberg, who also serves as the director of teaching, learning and accountability, came to District 16 in 1998. He has held the assistant superintendent position for five years. Prior, he was a principal in the district for five years and dean of students in Bloomington for one year.

The White Bear Lake district plans to make its final selection the first week in April. The successful candidate will replace outgoing Superintendent Ted Blaesing, who will retire June 30, 2008.
