Anoka man killed in Sherburne County crash PDF Print

An Anoka man was killed today (Tuesday, Nov. 10) in a motorcycle accident in Sherburne County.

At approximately 12:04 p.m. the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Sherburne County Roads 38 and 19, near the Baldwin Cemetery.

According to Sheriff Joel Brott, preliminary investigation of the crash shows that a motorcycle being driven by Jeffrey Skoglund, 49, of Anoka, was northbound on County Road 19 when he was struck by a flat bed tow truck being driven by Brett Johnson, 44 of Milaca, who was eastbound on County Road 38.

Skoglund was pronounced dead at the scene. Johnson was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, which was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Baldwin Fire Department.
