In addition to a choosing a new mayor, Andover residents will choose at least one new council member for a four-year term.
Three city offices will be on the ballot for Anoka voters in the Nov. 4 general election.
Jason King and Matthew Knutson are both seeking to replace longtime Ward 3 council member Katherine Kolb to represent northern Blaine.
Voters in Coon Rapids will elect a new mayor of the city on Nov. 4. Current Mayor Tim Howe, is not running for re-election. Two current City Council members, Jerry Koch and Ron Manning, are seeking the office.
Two new faces are running for election in Coon Rapids’ Ward 3. Wade Demmer and Ethan Yang are vying for the seat, currently held by Paul Johnson. Johnson is not running for re-election.
Nowthen voters will elect a new mayor on Nov. 4. With current Mayor Bill Schulz not seeking re-election, Cindy Ohman, Jeff Pilon and Jim Scheffler are all running for the position. Scheffler did not respond to the Anoka County UnionHerald’s questionnaire.
Nowthen voters will choose two city council members from a field of four candidates running for the office in the Nov. 4 election. Randy Bettinger, Penny LaPlante, Paul Reighard and Malcolm T. Vinger II are seeking the seats currently held by Council Members Harlan Meyer, who is not running for re-election and Jeff Pilon, who is running for mayor.
