Allina Health is teaming up with Free Bikes 4 Kidz for the third year in a row to again collect donated bicycles for kids in need throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 12).
Whether they were walking by the crime lab or in a holding cell, seeing the inside of an emergency command vehicle or boat or listening to stories from an Anoka County historian, a Sept. 18 open house gave Anoka County residents a chance to learn about the past and present of the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
Volunteers gathered at 40 Allina Health locations for two hours Saturday morning packaging healthy meals for neighbors in need.

Resilience Training, a program that helps individuals in their recovery from depression, anxiety and other conditions affected by stress, is offered by the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, Suite 200, Fridley Medical Center on the Unity Hospital campus, 480 Osborne Road.
