Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound Westonka extended its reign on the state adapted soccer title to seven straight state titles after scoring a 2-1 upset of north division top-seed Anoka-Hennepin in the Physically Impaired (PI) Division championship game played at Stillwater High School, Nov. 15.
Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs (physically impaired) adapted softball kept the state third place trophy inside the program’s boarders after a 7-5 win against Rochester Saturday afternoon.
After a 7-2 loss in the state adapted floor hockey (PI Division) quarterfinals, a very young Anoka-Hennepin squad won back-to-back games to claim the state consolation bracket title and some well-deserved hardware.
Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs’ adapted soccer season came to an end at the state tournament at Stillwater High School Nov. 15-16. The Mustangs (physically impaired) team rebounded from a 6-0 semifinal loss to Dakota United to win the third-place trophy over South Suburban 5-2.
The state’s top adapted softball teams converged on Coon Rapids High School for the annual Minnesota State High School League state tournament May 31-June 1.
