Ten years ago Anoka skated its first Class AA state boys’ hockey trophy around the ice at Xcel Energy Center. The 2002-03 squad became the first Anoka boys’ hockey team to win a state title out of five state tournament appearances.

Andover established itself at the top of the Northwest Suburban Conference standings following a 2-0 win at Maple Grove Jan. 8. Andover’s Krista Flanagan scored twice on the power play in the first period as the Huskies rode the lead to its 12th win of the season.
