When most people think of cemetery upkeep, they realize the necessity of lawn mowing, gardening and snow removal. What they might not recognize, however, is that without frequent tending, gravestones can settle and even become lost, literally disappearing into the ground. For the past four years, the Anoka congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been providing valuable, behind-the-scenes service for the city of Anoka’s Forest Hills Cemetery, finding and excavating grave markers.
