The city of Blaine could collect $3.12 million more in 2015 than it did in 2014, but a constant tax rate and a lot of new construction coming on the tax rolls will help offset some of the increases.
A Blaine woman, who took out a credit card in the name of a vulnerable adult without his permission to make $1,484.54 worth of purchases at the Coon Rapids T.J. Maxx store, has been placed on probation for five years by Anoka County District Court after pleading guilty to one of two felony charges.
