Transforming castaway items into useful tools and imagining solutions to nagging problems, 45 curious young people came to Anoka Middle School for the Arts’ Fred Moore campus to take part in Camp Invention last week.
In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Anoka Hennepin District 11 Community Education is pleased to offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering grades one through six. It’s an exciting, week-long summer adventure in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math that’s all about big ideas. Children will work together to seek innovative solutions to real-world problems and sharpen critical 21st century learning skills as they rotate through four modules that reinvent summer fun.
Invent Now, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and fostering invention and creativity, will bring its Camp Invention summer program to Anoka Middle School for the Arts-Fred Moore Campus for 2013.
