Coon Rapids man runs London Marathon, raises money for guide dogs

A passionate and energetic runner, Alan Guthrie finished his 11th marathon April 22 when he crossed the London Marathon finish line in 4 hours, 24 minutes and 28 seconds – an impressive pace that had him finishing in the middle of the pack of 36,705 runners.

The 42nd annual St. Francis co-ed invitational track meet had teams from 12 different schools racing, throwing, hurdling and dashing on Saints territory on a chilly, rainy April 21.
