A Blaine woman, who took out a credit card in the name of a vulnerable adult without his permission to make $1,484.54 worth of purchases at the Coon Rapids T.J. Maxx store, has been placed on probation for five years by Anoka County District Court after pleading guilty to one of two felony charges.

A contract was awarded by the Coon Rapids City Council Aug. 19 for the redevelopment of Riverview Park, the first major project to be undertaken with proceeds from the $17.4 million park bond referendum approved by voters in November 2013.
