A shoplifter apprehended by Coon Rapids Police following a pursuit on Highway 10 the morning of Feb. 8 has been placed on probation for three years by Anoka County District Court after pleading guilty to a felony charge.
A land use plan to guide future development and infrastructure improvements for a 100-acre area – generally bordered by Foley Boulevard, Coon Rapids Boulevard and East River Road – hit a snag when it came to the Coon Rapids City Council for approval Nov. 5.
Anoka County recently opened the Coon Rapids Passport Center, located adjacent to the Coon Rapids License Center at 455 99th Ave. NW, Suite 100B, in Coon Rapids. This is the county’s second passport office; the first is located adjacent to the Blaine License Center, 10995 Club West Parkway, Suite 700B.
