A Coon Rapids woman with three prior DWI convictions in the past 10 years has pleaded guilty to another – a felony. Genna Diane Anderson, 34, entered a guilty plea in Anoka County District Court and will be sentenced Nov. 5.
A man, allegedly drunk, who drove a car through the back wall of a garage at a Coon Rapids residence the night of April 23 striking two people and then drove away, faces four charges, three of them felonies, in Anoka County District Court.
Anoka County Sheriff’s deputies along with officers from Anoka, Blaine, Centennial Lakes, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Lino Lakes, Ramsey, Spring Lake Park and St. Francis police departments arrested 97 drunk drivers during a nationwide end-of-summer DWI enforcement effort, Aug. 17–Sept. 3.
