Eight Girl Scouts visited Anoka-Ramsey Community College Feb. 19 – and after 90 minutes, the girls had evolved into science and technology geeks and engineering and math aficionados.
A lot of family members of Alexis Berge of Ham Lake have been in traffic accidents while texting, so she and two other Girl Scouts raised money for anti-texting while driving street signs near Blaine High School.
Shelby Legonvarn, of Blaine, recently marked a major milestone with the successful completion of the Girl Scouts’ highest achievement, the Gold Award.

The Blaine-area Just For Kix program participated in Feed the Need, an event organized by Radio Disney and the Girl Scouts of River Valleys at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds May 4.
