The community is invited to come and “bee-come” part of the solution. League of Women Voters ABC (Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids area) will be establishing teams to advocate with cities and residents in the local area to protect pollinators and improve pollinator habitat.
Local beekeeper, Jim Meyers, will be presenting a program of agricultural importance at the League of Women Voters ABC (Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids area) meeting on Monday evening, March 10 at Andover City Hall’s Senior Center.
The new executive director for League of Women Voters Minnesota, Susan Sheridan Tucker, will be the guest of the League of Women Voters ABC on Monday, Jan. 13 at Andover City Hall’s Senior Center. Social time is at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.
There was a good turnout of community residents and water protection organizations March 11 for the League of Women Voters ABC’s program on water supply sustainability.
The League of Women Voters ABC invites the public to attend its March program at the Andover Senior Center Monday evening, March 11 for a presentation by Lanya Ross, principal environmental scientist with the Metropolitan Council. Her topic will be “Water Supply Sustainability in the North Metro.”
The League of Women Voters celebrates its 93rd anniversary in the month of February.
