The Anoka City Council gave its final stamp of approval to the city’s financial plan for 2013.
The St. Francis City Council Monday unanimously adopted a final 2013 levy of $2,988,086, which reflects a 4 percent increase over the 2012 levy. This is a decrease from the originally proposed levy amount, which had called for a 7 percent increase over 2012.
The St. Francis District 15 School Board Dec. 10 approved its property tax levy payable 2013, which is 1.83 percent less than the current levy.
The Ramsey City Council has approved its 2013 property tax levy that is 4.95 percent less than this year, while its 2013 budget will be 6.69 percent more than 2012.
The Coon Rapids City Council approved a 2013 property tax levy Dec. 4 that is 4.5 percent higher than 2012.
A 10 percent reduction is proposed in the Anoka County Regional Rail Authority’s 2013 property tax levy.
Anoka property owners will see a decrease in their city taxes for 2013.
