St. Francis senior Maggie Ewen became a four-time state discus champion on the first day of the Class AA State Track and Field meet at Hamline University June 7.
Spring Lake Park track and field added another North Suburban Conference crown to its growing resume of accomplishments this spring.

In its 27th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with ESPNHS, last week announced Maggie Ewen of St. Francis High School (SFHS) as its 2011-12 Gatorade Minnesota Girls’ Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
Records were broken and titles were reclaimed during last weekend’s Class AA state track and field competition staged at Hamline University, St. Paul, June 8 and 9.
