The 2014 Northwest Suburban Conference released its all-conference list recently.
Andover, Blaine and conference newcomer Spring Lake Park each garnered six on the list while Anoka had three and Coon Rapids two.
Two weeks earlier, Spring Lake Park handed Andover a 35-14 loss in the first and perhaps only Northwest Suburban Conference meeting after meeting in the section tournament each of the last two seasons. Each team won a section game by one point including the Huskies 33-32 win over Spring Lake Park last fall.

Coon Rapids’ (3-5) hopes of winning a Section 5-6A game were dashed in an opening round with a 51-23 loss at Totino-Grace Oct. 25 in a rematch of the season opener in Fridley.
