Immediately before the Spring Lake Park High School Homecoming football game Oct. 11, families came together for a parade and tailgate event, sponsored by student council.

Attendance was down for the Panther Foundation’s third annual 5K and family carnival fundraiser at Spring Lake Park High School, but those who did brave the rain Oct. 5 were full of energy, ready to kick off Homecoming week 2013.
Winning traditions are something that take time to build and develop and over the last eight seasons under the direction of now Stillwater head coach Jake Smothers, Spring Lake Park/St. Anthony Village boys’ soccer developed quite a reputation for winning and being a very tough opponent to eliminate from section play.
