Man charged in Anoka stabbing case

A stabbing incident at an Anoka apartment building landed one man in the hospital and another in jail.

Jonathon Stuart Listrom, 26, Lexington, is due back in court Nov. 16 on a felony second-degree assault charge.

Bail was set at $40,000 without conditions or $10,000 with conditions at Listrom’s arraignment Oct. 16. A no contact order was issued by the court.

The evening of Oct. 13, a man went to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital with a stab wound in his side, telling police he had received it at an apartment unit on the 2400 block of Maple Lane during an argument with Listrom.

A witness at the apartment alleged the two argued, but he did not see any physical altercation.

However, when the man backed off from Listrom, he allegedly told the witness that he had been stabbed and there was blood all over his body and his clothes.

Both Listrom and the victim then left the apartment, the complaint alleges.

According to the complaint, police traced Listrom through his cell phone use and found him in possession of a butterfly knife with a four-inch blade.
