A Ramsey man is facing three felony charges in Anoka County District Court after the Anoka-Hennepin Drug Task Force conducted a search of his home.
Timothy Patrick Fox, 46, 15001 Hematite St., was charged Nov. 30 with two counts possession of a firearm by a felon as well as fifth-degree drug possession.
According to the criminal complaint, the drug task force searched Fox’s home Nov. 29 following an undercover drug buy.
During the search, they allegedly found in Fox’s bedroom a substance in a plastic vacuum seal bag that tested positive for marijuana.
Near the alleged drugs, officers located $1,220 in bills.
The bundle allegedly contained five bills that the drug task force had marked for a controlled marijuana purchase operation at Fox’s home.
Officers also allegedly found two pistols and ammunition in a safe, which Fox would be ineligible to have because he was convicted of terroristic threats in 2007.
Running a check on the serial numbers, officer discovered both pistols had been reported as stolen, according to the complaint.
Fox’s next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2013.
