Jolene Brask of Crystal, MN is happy to announce her engagement to Noel Bombet Valdehueza of the Philippines. Jolene is the daughter of Linnea Brask of Grantsburg, WI, and the late Wade Brask. Bombet is the son of Tita Monin and Tito Jun Valdehueza. Jolene has known his entire family since her 1st of 6 visits to the Philipines way back in 1987. Bombets dad made his first trip to America in 1988, and even spoke to Miss Brasks class of Fernbrook first graders.
Jolene and Bombet have plans to travel back and forth to the Philippines as they will be the superintendents of the Wade Elementary School, named after Jolenes dad who died in 2000. The school lot is currently being purchased in CagayanDeOro, Mindanao. This city is affectionately called, The city of Golden Friendship.
Jolene and Bombet are planning an Oct. school ballfield wedding in Maple Grove, MN (MEA weekend). Jolene is inviting all people of her entire career to her bring your own picnic basket joyous day!! A country western square dance will follow the wedding ceremony.
