Kmart stores in Anoka, Blaine closing in December

Kmart stores in Anoka, Blaine, Burnsville and Waite Park will close in early December.

“Store closures are part of a series of actions we’re taking on to reduce ongoing business expenses, adjust our asset base and accelerate the transformation of our business model,” said Chris Brathwaite, vice president of media relations for Sears Holdings Co., which owns the Kmart brand.
