On April 22, students across the district came together to protest board possible threats to the budget, sparked by a Facebook post made by Anoka-Hennepin School Board Member Matt Audette.

“We’re united for the same reason, to be seen and heard,” Coon Rapids High School Senior and student protest organizer Amelia Eric said. “Every school in Anoka-Hennepin is represented here today. All schools, students, and groups are being represented here.”
