Hundreds of lights at Coon Rapids buildings will be upgraded to LED thanks to a federal grant.

The Coon Rapids City Council on April 16 accepted $121,480 from the US Department of Energy through its energy efficiency and conservation block grant program, then awarded a construction contract to Phasor Electric Company for the project.
