Anoka boys golf senior Will Cedarstrand watches a putt to the hole during a Northwest Suburban Conference meet at Bunker Hills April 18. The Tornadoes tied for eighth in the meet, then earned third in an NWSC meet at Baker National April 22.

Carter Amelse homered, drove in three runs and earned the win in relief to help power Blaine baseball to a 9-6 win against Anoka April 18. Derek Schlomann went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs, Wilson Guse had a pair of hits and knocked in two, Tori Barsness scored three runs, and Ethan Pettis picked up a pair of hits. Delivering two hits apiece for the Tornadoes were Jackson Provoncha, Evan Freking, Brayden Cherrey, Sam Poser and Clay Bernard.

Drew Law homered and Wyatt Myers doubled twice as Andover recorded a 6-4 win against Robbinsdale Armstrong April 23. Teddy Heller added a pair of hits, Anthony Pardo doubled and scored twice, and Brett Buettner earned the win on the mound.
