Plans for an indoor, temperature-controlled self-storage facility at 101st Avenue and Foley Boulevard were given the green light by the Coon Rapids City Council Nov. 20.

The council adopted an ordinance changing the zoning of the 1.65-acre site from low-density residential to commercial, then approved an amendment to the planned unit development and site plan for the 100,800-square-foot building.
