Coon Rapids is seeking a Department of Natural Resources grant to replace aging equipment at Al Flynn Park, the park located behind Lilli Putt.

A state grant application will be made by Coon Rapids to help pay for a playground replacement project in Al Flynn Park, one of the city’s oldest parks.

The Coon Rapids City Council March 4 unanimously passed a resolution supporting the request to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources through its outdoor recreation grant program.
