After spending about $11,000 on plumbing repairs for her Blaine house while her husband was getting his blood pressure checked by a hospice nurse, Kristina Darrington found herself at the end of her rope as she was informed, in addition to all the money she just spent, she also needed a new furnace.

“I just kind of couldn’t take it anymore,” Darrington said.
