Coon Rapids resident promotes ‘functional menopause’ for women and partners

A Coon Rapids resident is providing ways for women and their partners to face the biological factors of aging with plenty of tools under their belt. Tracy Sigfrid is a consultant that focuses on “functional menopause,” a term she coined to describe a more positive way of looking at menopause.

“That’s my message. I want it to be functional for women,” Sigfrid said. “I want to change the message so that it’s not such a negative connotation. I want their stages of life to be functional and healthy for them because they deserve to be happy and experience wellness in their life.”
